2017 The Admiral Pinot Blanc
Classic Pinot Blanc showing notes of citrus, granny smith apple and herbal infusion encompassed with generous and well balanced French oak tones. Refreshing fine line of acid backbone carries the flavours of oak maturation and passion fruit along with well-structured mid palate that leads to a long persistent finish. Pair this drop with shell fish or chicken salad.
Adelaide Hills vines began to be planted in the 1870s and are one of Australia's most sophisticated and beautiful cool climate wine region with about 50 cellar doors across its incredible landscape. In the regions, early days with the cool climate changes the vines had to be taken up by 1930 and only replanted 40 years later. Due to the Adelaide Hills climate, the grapes are best suited to early ripening varieties.
